About the Speaker: Dr. Zoi Lachana holds an Integrated Master’s Degree from the department of Information and Communication Systems Engineering at the University of the Aegean. She subsequently completed postgraduate studies in Technologies and Management of Information and Communication Systems, specializing in e-Government, at the same institution. In 2024, she earned her PhD, focusing on the development of a scientific foundation for Digital Governance. She is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher and Project Manager at the Information Systems Laboratory of the University of the Aegean. Since 2017, she has participated in numerous European and national research projects, including digiGov EDIH, ManyLaws, TODO Horizon Europe, and PROMETHEUS, with a particular focus on Legal Informatics, Interoperability, Open Data, and Smart Cities. Sector expert 2024 (mobility in smart cities) in the European Commission’s Intelligent Cities Challenge program, advising the cities of Poznań and Gdańsk.
